Future of this community?

I'm asking both mods and other users, with lemm.ee planning to shut down soon, what instance do you all think this community should move to? Except the .ml version the only ones I see are !bluesky@forum.wedistribute.org (NodeBB community) and community for bluesky posts !peoplebluesky@lemmy.world . So probably a new one will need to be created?

I'm tempted to just move back to !bluesky@lemmy.ml. I am not interested in constantly hopping between instances when one shuts down, and I know that lemmy.ml will stay up as long as Lemmy is still being maintained.

However, I moved to lemm.ee for a reason. I wanted to be on a large instance that's not associated with partisan politics. What are your guys' thoughts?

I would say Lemmy.zip or Piefed.social. Piefed.social even allows to migrate the community posts and comments: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/45876780

I would try to avoid .ml if possible.

I personally wouldn't want it to be on .ml if it's possible, pretty much any instance outside of this one. My instance is defederated from .ml so I won't be able to interact with the community at all in this case. This is not mentioning controversial opinions of the admin and a bunch of users boycotting this instance

At this rate, I'm leaning towards lemmy.zip or piefed.social. Neither of those instances are the target of defederation campaigns, so I can be sure this community will be accessible to everyone. I'm just a little concerned that either instance could shut down in the same manner as lemm.ee.
