Yes, click the magnifying glass next to your username on the top of the page, you'll go to the search page.
Click "All" to select all communities then put @GuiltyGear@kbin.social into the search box.
Click search, if noone has subscribed to it yet you won't find it, the server will need time to discover it, click a few time, then wait some time and try again, eventually our server will find the community and you can go to that page to subscribe.
I don’t know the answer, but why don’t you just create the community yourself and get it started? You can always add the Reddit mods if they do want to run it on lemmy.

On open subs there's a button for it, if the sub is private it should still work by using:
Tho I strongly suggest you ask in Discord, many mods are being "spammed" currently by users asking the same, I would consider it courtesy to ask in Discord first since it's available.
