Make No Mistake: We Are in a Civil War

It is time for local and state governments to resist more forcefully the lawlessness and cowardice of an out-of-control federal government under the thumb of Trump.

Well at least we got rid of Biden.

Bidens why we're here dude.

If instead of insisting Biden be the candidate from 2023-2024, if we could have had a real primary, quite literally ALL of this could have been prevented.

And if they hadn't put their thumb on the scale for Hillary in 2016, and she hadn't decided to reach for some imaginary middle razor thin between corporate liberals and fascists, Trump would just be another dumb clown that tried to be a Republican presidential candidate.

Ten years later and you’re still talking about Bernie losing the primary.

I feel that, for a lot of folks, he was the last candidate that promised an actual brighter future to believe in. It's a shame corporate donors pushed him out of the race, as it left a lot of folks feeling that their voices would never be heard. I think it's even fair to say that his dismissal by the Democrat party directly led to the voter resentment that helped Trump win the elections.

That. And people don't understand a binary choice.

Absolutely did. A TON of Bernie bros would go on to vote for Trump, and Trump ran on a platform of "establishment bad," so having his opponent be the MOST establishment option, who just won their primary through interference by the establishment could not have been better. Not to mention that the Hillary campaign and DNC SUPPORTED Trump's run until he won the primary

Yeah I get he lost and people are sad but the next step is to move on instead of letting what’s happening happen.

The DNC literally admitted to braking it own rules and cheating for Hillary in court.

Your bullshit here that Bernie couldn't win the primary so he wouldn't win the general is post-hoc rationalization of the DNC being an undemocratic institution and justifying their theft of the party.

Without addressing that theft, no primary in the world will fix this.

Ah, but we must move on from that as well. The important stuff to pay attention to will only begin in 2032. Nothing until then matters.
