GOG site feature request: Join the Fediverse

7 months ago by marv99 to c/gog

Download the best games on Windows & Mac. A vast selection of titles, DRM-free, with free goodies, and lots of pure customer love.

As I would like to see GOG officially joining the Fediverse, I have created a feature-wish entry on their website: https://www.gog.com/...

If you find it a good idea, maybe you can support the entry. Thank you and keep enjoying your DRM-free gaming :)

2 things I wish:

let me ignore games, ffs
have the forums work with firefox - I can't post new threads or comments while using FF or similars

Is 2. still the case? I also had for weeks trouble creating the wish list entry due to a website error, was in contact with support, and finally could create my wish item few days ago - with Firefox.

I'll have to try posting on the forum some other time. Notable that the "ignore games" wish is almost 8 fucking years old

My FF works. Maybe you have to adjust your script blocker for gog?

Made a post on the forum regarding them and ActivityPub too if you'd want to poke there too: https://www.gog.com/...
