It's a great quote. I think it may be a reference to a real poem, but I don't remember. Also I know it's wishful thinking but I always thought the ending of Ceramic Dogs' - The Activist had some lines that reminds me of this. And I am choosing to believe that Marc Ribot is a Disco Elysium enjoyer and that it's a nod to this line.
