There's a new one coming out from those teams, can't remember the name but was in the PlayStation presentation the other week.
It looks so sick!
The Last of Us Part I (for the third time, I think?). Streaming it to my iPad in bed at night.
For a few minutes here and there, COD MW2 is fun. I used to love FIFA but I get too pissed off playing that anymore, so I’m off it.
I normally only tackle one "big" game at a time, finish it, then onto the next. And I break it up with little 2-4 hour single session short games.
Currently marvel avengers which im mostly through, I now just need to do the big grind, which I will do in short sessions here and there.
So deciding on my next "big" game. It's probably going to be ACIII which is the only AC I have left to do. Either that or sleeping dogs.
(I'm also playing ratchet and clank on PS3)
(I was playing Jedi survivor but I quit about 30-40 hours in because it's buggy unfinished trash. I will come back to it when they fix bounty hunting and the myriad of other issues)
I've been waiting for Survivor to get the kinks worked out before I dive in. And Sleeping Dogs is one of my favorite games of all time.
That’s what I do as well. One big game at a time, smaller games in between.
Playing through Ghost of Tsushima for the first time. Just finished up a ship mission whereby I had to raid the Mongolian ships for food to help the Ronin. Phenomenal game!
Will likely play through Dark Souls 3 again, as I love that game.
Omg, I loved GoT. The DLC is probably one of the best story dlcs I've ever played. I thought it folded perfectly into the main narrative. Felt like it was written with it in mind from the beginning. And the rock, paper, scissors combat is so satisfying. DLC has new enemy types that are awesome as well.
The combat is brilliant. I love parrying and the well timed triangle in the standoffs. The story is very engrossing as well. I haven't touched the dlc yet as I'm still relatively early game.
Well it's a treat, def play it after you beat it.
Also playing GoT for the first time and it’s incredible. I’m loving every second of it.
At Gaping Dragon on Dark Souls Remastered! Thinking about getting Burning Shores to get more Horizon Forbidden West.
I'm playing Death Stranding for the first time. I feel that I need to be in a certain mood to play this game. It's not that kind of game that you just plug and play, you have to pay attention to all details. So far I'm liking the concept.
Started playing Wild Arms 3 after getting through the first two these past few months. Didn't really enjoy the second game that much because of the translation, but I remember liking WA3 when I was a kid. I'm hoping for a good time while I wait for Final Fantasy 16 to come out!
Thanks for initiating the discussions!
Currently I am playing GOWR and at the moment it is an upgrade on every aspect compared to 2018. Hopefully it will deliver to the end.
Not sure if it is hidden gem, but recently I played Edith Finch and it was a magical experience.

I'm playing Pistol Whip - I've been looking forward to VR forever and was on the fence hoping to wait for more games to get released on VR2 before buying in but quite frankly I was tired of waiting and pulled the trigger. It's been a good experience so far.
I'm looking forward to more games, of course.
Still don't have a PS5 yet (just bought my PS4 in 2019 so it still seems relatively new), but as near as I can tell, this is the most active Lemmy community for Playstation gaming. I signed up on Lemmy.World, but I think I can still post on Lemmy.ml threads? Still figuring out the landscape here.
In any case, I'm playing NBA 2K23 at the moment (one of the free PS+ games this month). I played NBA 2K20 a few years on ago when that was offered, so I didn't really want to boot up the newer version knowing it's virtually the same game again. However, I've been having fun with it so far. I get my ass kicked by anyone online (and got my ass kicked in local couch play too), but I can see myself playing it a lot.
thanks for using Leebra!

I'll start. Picked up the pathless recently on sale because I loved Journey and Abzu so much. Can't wait to start it. Journey is a game I wish I could wipe from my memory and play it again with that unnamed stranger I played it with originally. 🤌
