YouTube said it will start automatically detecting "photorealistic" AI videos and slapping them with a more noticeable label.

We’ll soon get a chance to see whether, frankly, our last hope, evil corp Google, can still distinguish content created by AI from Human one 🤖

Here’s how I would rank the detection difficulty: 1️⃣ Text 2️⃣ Code 3️⃣ Images 4️⃣ Gifs 5️⃣ Videos If they already fail at level 5, we have a SERIOUS problem.

I'm reading this as this isn't really something we want to do, but people are starting to sue us for deep fakes, so therefore we need to do something about it.

That's really the only reason I can think of why they're only targeting photorealistic style videos and not all of them.
