I think this is why the plan went through. Trump has too much personal investment and too many personal allies in the middle east to let IL continue to advance their plan of a “greater israel.” They paused to focus on that. Maybe wishful thinking. We’ll see soon I guess.

Nah it won't the future is looking shit for ordinary people because of climate change it doesn't matter what happens. The rise in anti social attitudes and this general sense of resignation towards all of this being inevitable doesn't bode well. AFAIK these attitudes exist everywhere and technology only seems to be making all of this worse. I don't see those trends changing any time soon.
