"The only ethical abortion is MY abortion"
Exactly this. These folks can't see past their faces, so they never empathise with an issue until it knocks at their door.
Then suddenly they want an exemption because their issue is legitimate, unlike all the others before them who were so surely undeserving of help, unlike them
Its very rare to see any of these folks come out the other side realising that they weren't just an exception to the rule, and that those "undeserving" were treated unfairly just like them.
It's something that I try to emphasize to people that are pro-life these days. If you 100% believe that abortion is murder and that every life is secred, I wholeheartedly respect your opinion even if I disagree with you. But something pro-life people need to realize is that the majority of men on the pro-life side do not give a single fuck about whether or not abortion is murder and they just want to control what women do. What they are saying has absolutely nothing to do with what they actually believe and they're just using your vote to push their own agenda. Saying "abortion is murder" is just the Trojan horse they use to force you to have their children even if you die.
I clicked through to the article, and it consistently says she's part of the "Leopard Party," so I assume that this article is satire? I mean, I understand the reference to "leopards ate my face", but mixing ironic criticism into an article that is supposed to be factual just makes it look like satire.
If the article is actually legitimate, then I question their choice of website, "Talk like a pro." I think a pro would know how to present information in a way that is not confusing to the reader.
Pretty easy to just make that up right now, got a link?
Her name is right there in the summary and I trust you to find Google (technically I used DuckDuckGo) on your own.
There are a bunch of links related to this particular story, but also wrestling related links from 5+ years ago, a linkedin page, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Could it all be faked? Sure, but that seems like an awful lot of effort for not much of a payoff.
Again, everything you're saying right now would be very easy for you to just make up. If there are so many links you should actually contribute something to the community by sharing one instead of conditioning people to accept bullshit assertions.
Technically the core of the story is real, but the OP is basically just a tabloid blog, not a real news source. My guess is it's an AI generated article capitalizing on real stories and editorializing to make click bait.
This article reads like AI slop. Here is an articulate article. I can only assume that the word leopard made it into this article because it was a reference to leopards eating faces, as in, "I voted for anti abortion, but I thought my need for abortion was sacrosanct."
This article does not #talklikea.pro .
Have the day you voted for bitch.

The trouble began when Jessica was diagnosed with Trisomy 18—a chromosomal abnormality that meant her baby had zero chance of survival. In a pre-Leopard world, this would be a tragic, private medical decision. But in the world Jessica voted for, it’s a legal minefield.
Despite her body literally breaking down—chest pains, extreme swelling, and the early stages of sepsis—Jessica was met with a shrug from the medical community. Doctors, who were apparently more terrified of the prison sentences Jessica’s favorite politicians promised than they were of her actually dying, suggested she “ask Google” for help.
Leopards,...faces.
thanks for using Leebra!

Yeah. It is. It has been repeated, over and over, that the "pro-life" position blatantly disregards the well being of the mother. There is no chance that when she cast her vote she had not been exposed to that argument at some point.
She just didn't care until it was her life instead of just any nameless "mother".
