Idk I've only met open minded ghouls (if not feral). They're not Caesar's legion
How comes that women dislike bi guys? I've heard that more than once now. Is that historical or what strange tidings did it take to come to that? Gay men do not seem to have that issue with bi guys, or do i see that wrong? And i don't see the same shit going down with bi women.
Please educate me.
There’s a stigma around bi people that bi men are actually just gay and bi women are just straight. A good chunk of women perceive a bi man to just be closeted gay and are turned off by it. I personally don’t think those women are worth worrying about, but they are out there and coming out as bi to a woman can just end your chances every now and then.
Stupid people are out there. Plenty of them. Like it has always been. At this point, I am more than happy if the stupid people identify themselves before I spend thoughts and emotional attachments on them.
It is not just about stupidity. Every day, some of the smartest people in the world get out of bed and go on to make some of the dumbest choices. A decorated academics professor may have an unreflected world view and a doctor may smoke their health away. Humans are majorly influenced by their upbringing and experiences, and when there is enough damage caused, a population will suffer the consequences through the failure of the individual.
This is why I never cheer when a tragedy happens in the world, even when it hits the worst people imaginable. It would be like throwing a snowball towards somebody standing uphill on a snowy mountain slope: When they fall over, the avalanche will not care who caused it.
I think it's supposed to mean they don't like Anon specifically. Like, women don't get attracted by anon.
Could be, but i have, like i said, heard that women have a real issue with hooking up with bi men. @fryd@sh.itjust.works made me aware of the stigma around bi guys, and i really have to agree it's fucking stupid (cmon girls, where's the issue if the guy likes the occasional cock if your sexual life has been centered around getting fucked by the same body parts, both of you agree that getting dicked down can be hot)
Oh, I didn't know. Well, every day you learn something, I guess.
It isn't a stigma. It's a preference. Sure, some women might not want to date a bi guy because "what will my friends think?" or something. But many will just find the idea of a man wanting to sleep with other men unattractive for literally any reason or lack of reason and that's fine. Everyone is entitled to their own sexual preferences and, importantly, you aren't going to talk them out of it. Peoples sexual preferences are about as under their control as their intuition that poop smells bad and flowers smell good. It's really weird when gay people don't get this, because they've been fighting for the past several decades to get the straights to realize that they aren't choosing to be gay.
I'd say there is a difference between "your physiology isn't attractive to me" and "what you like makes me feel icky". The first one i agree with fully and is completely in line with your arguments; the second one is a social construct and discriminatory.
Anon is suffering from low self esteem. If you or someone you know is in a similar predicament, give them a hug today or another day, and let them know that you know that they're going through what they're going through, so they know that you know what they know that they're going through. It might even help, or not.
what if my self esteem is so low the hug makes it worse because i think i didn't deserve it
