Neo Berlin 2087 - Official Gamescom 2026 Release Announcement Trailer

This looks like a mix between Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Observer to me. It's hard to tell if it'll strictly be an action game or if there will be "detective" gameplay moments but I think the graphics look amazing. I'm looking forward to this one.
Totally agree. We need more shadowrun games in general, no matter where they're set.
Yeah, it's kinda sad that there are so few of them. There's my old time fave on the Mega Drive, a SNES game which i can't get into regardless of how often i tried, then a Shooter that was nice but didn't hit the spot for me, and then the 3 Harebrained Scheme games, which, while having a pretty good storyline (the first is so-so), don't offer much replayability (and i find the tactical elements quite lacking to be honest)
That reminds me... Steam has a workshop section for the Harebrained Scheme games and someone tried to reproduce the entire SNES game using the Dragonfall engine. It's called SNES Reboot and I totally forgot I was gonna try playing it. Thanks for the reminder!

Cyberpunk is a science-fiction sub-genre dealing with the integration of society and technology in dystopian settings. Often referred to as “low-life and high tech,” Cyberpunk stories deal with outsiders (punks) who fight against the oppressors in society (usually mega corporations that control everything) via technological means (cyber). If the punks aren’t actively fighting against a megacorp, they’re still dealing with living in a world completely dependent on high technology.
This is a community focused on cyberpunk as a genre of fiction. Please post any news articles about our real world slipping into a dystopian nightmare at: !aboringdystopia@lemmy.world

I would have preferred Shadowruns vision of a future anarchistic Berlin than this copy of CP2077 with DX mixed in, but let's see, maybe there is more behind it than the trailer shows.
