"The party" is the DNC, and it's controlled by the chair for a four year term. If a Dem becomes president, they choose the chair.

So blame the DNC chair, at the time it was DWS, and yeah. She was a giant piece of shit.

But blaming the current "party" for shit from a prior just tells everyone you don't understand how this works

Is there any kind of "here's the people we recommend, you should really pick from the list" type shenanigans? I guess there's no real way to know, but that's the only way I could see it being less authentic.
