Im not saying that anarchism is better than communism. Id say Im more of an anarcho-communist as I see grassroots movements , even grassroots counterrevolutionary movements , as more useful than authoritarian ones from a few leaders . I just feel that it is better for each of the peoole to think for themselves, consult researchers or their own research for themselves, AND to act collectively or even not act based on what they themselves feel rather than what a community leader or group of community leaders tells them to feel. To be completely honest the main reason I am an communist rather than an anarchist is cause I feel that collective violent groups of communists will be better at imprisoning, and re-educating middle aged fascists than collective, violent groups of anarchists.

I think you've kind of answered your own question here. A militant worker movement needs planning and organization so that everyone to pulls together in the same direction. Anarchism rejects effective methods of organization that have been proven to work, and as a result has little to show for itself in over a century of all types of anarchist movements giving it a go.

obviously there is. He is technically contradicting himself because he both says that socialism is the transitionary phase towards communism and that they are the same. It cannot be both. You cannot use A as a tool to get towards B if A and B are the same. Then you don’t have to do anything because you are already there.

i suspect that social media influencers like this guy are the only light keeping socialism alive in the west and the fact that we can practically hear crickets chirping as a response to this video goes to show how thoroughly poisoned this well is and how long it will take before adoption is widespread.
