Disney Hikes Price Of Disney+ and Hulu Streaming Plans

KODI tripled its price recently.
Jellyfin with a 9500% increase in monthly fees. Smh.
Eff this behavior. Looks like I’m pulling up anchor and going sailing, again. They’ll inevitably ask for a bailout, so I say it’s time to sharpen our blades now, mates.
I left last year when they tried this BS. Screw streaming services. If they're just going to slowly turn streaming into the new cable TV, who needs them? I don't need ads in my paid service. I don't need hiked prices every year. I can find quality content on the high seas, without ads and/or subscriptions.
Agreed. But noticed in another topic they might be banning users for talking about the high seas on some servers. Either that or it’s Admiral Patrick is back…
Doubt he ever left. The guy needs control over the servers software.
Media consolidation results in less competition and higher prices. It also results in crappier product that in turn leads to less subscribers. There’s too many other things competing for people’s time and money (like the Internet, video games, podcasts, etc.)
So how long until this business model implodes and the remaining three media companies start begging for a government bailout?

They might be raising the price, but at least they are also adding ads to all subscription levels.
