You should be using a sports bra instead so you don't destroy the tissue developing
Honestly, can any trans women weigh in? Which one is more annoying? As a cis man, I honestly think boob sweat sounds way worse.
Yeah, that's my experience. You can more discretely deal with boob sweat, while dealing with ball sweat feels awful
Boob sweat is affirming, even if my bras get soggy for hours and really stink after a while. Ball sweat is way more disgusting and majorly dysphoria inducing. Just my experience.
Totally privacy invading kind of question you can completely ignore if it's not welcome. But now I wonder, does your body odor change after starting HRT?
yes it does! I don't know how to describe it but sweat smells more feminine.
and there's actually some good research out there on how the genitals begin to smell more like a vagina, which is very interesting. hrt is magic
Pretty sure mine did a bit, but I don't think I could really describe the difference in words very well tbh. I'll check to see what my wife says and report back 🫡
Edit: she said "You don't stink as much lol" 🫠 thanks babe lmao
Since we're asking private questions, did you get married before transitioning? Really curious how your partner took it.
My wife's never really identified as female so I'm cool with it, just wondering what other people's experiences are, please ignore if uncomfortable!
Does ball sweat lead to yeast infections? Because as a well-endowed woman, that's my biggest concern when I'm in a sweaty bra for hours a day.
I have to hand-wash my bras every night in the summer, lest I get painful sores in my underboob. :(
i solved that problem by just saying fuck it and not wearing bras :3
That would be a terrible idea for me in so many ways. 😅 But you rock on, sister!
Not generally, but it can. :/
Yeah, my mom was "blessed" by the boob fairy, and she fought that nightmare. Poor lady. But you always knew who to turn to if you needed some Nystatin powder lol
I've never even noticed ball sweat while boob sweat is a frequent annoyance. So easily think boob sweat is worse. I tuck now and so it's not like I'm wearing underwear+bottoms that allow lots of airflow to the balls either.
LIFEHACK: i don't get boob sweat because i don't wear bras! :3
I don't wear bras either, but I'm like a j or k cup and that's. Still so much sweat my tits just slide around on my chest/stomach?
I was swimming in a lake with some friends and they started talking about the shock of one's balls entering the water versus the shock of one's breasts entering the water. I didn't say anything but my internal state was -_-
Whats worse though?
It may vary between individuals, but for me the boob discomfort was far overshadowed by the ball discomfort. It could also be a matter of them touching the water first and then desensitizing me to future pain. But yeah probably the balls (they are designed to create nothing but problems for me).
Clearly more research is required, and you need to go in the water upside down next time :)
If it's muscle pain from just never exercising, it's fine - just start slow, you really don't need to do much. The only thing is being consistent with it! After a few weeks, you'll notice that your body has grown used to moving again, and you should be able to safely increase the duration and intensity without pain.
If the pain is from some other issue, like joint problems etc, then maybe try looking for something that you can do without pain - perhaps some gentle swimming, or even just moving around in the water, should be tolerable.
I'm no exercise expert, but I can definitely vouch for how much it improves your life - even a tiny bit, if done regularly, truly works wonders - better sleep, better mood, more energy, less pain.
I think it matters a lot what pants and underwear you wear. If it is one close to skin like for example boxer briefs + tight pants, your balls might sweat a lot if it is loose boxers, lose pants the problem might not happen.
So you don't sweat dressed like this even during hot summer days?
Are you sure you are not carrying a portable AC in your pocket?
That area was designated to be able to use sweat to cool down, that's why it grows hair to keep the moisture there longer so the evaporation can cool it off. That's also the reason our head and armpits have hair.
I didn't say that I don't, I said:
I don’t think I’ve ever even thought about my ball sweat.
My point was to contrast it with my partner, who complains about her boob sweat often.
Holy shit, lucky!
Mc Murdo station in Antarctica is always hiring various support staff.
outside of the issues regarding asbestos which is a very common impurity in talcum because they tend to be next to each other, making separation impossible, which has been known since before 1900. https://www.asbestos.com/products/talcum-powder/
Cosmetic-grade talc has shown asbestos levels ranging from 0% to 30% in testing since the 1960s. To top it off, the types of Asbestos being mixed into talcum are among the most dangerous ones. The IARC also classified pure talc as probably carcinogenic, placing it in Group 2A, its second-highest cancer risk level. I would advise you to seek alternatives.
The original comment was removed but are we saying that baby powder is bad for us in 2026 because it has up to 30% asbestos in it? Because I put medicated powder on my balls pretty regularly. The burn makes me feel alive.
lol yes, baby powder (which is talcum) is bad for you. There was a large lawsuit in the UK in 2025 with 3000 claimants against Johnson & Johnson regarding their Baby Powder, and sale of baby powder has been stopped in the UK in 2023.

I thought they updated the ingredients after that! Noooooooooo! My balls!!!!
