‘Star Wars’: Jon Watts to Direct Next Movie for Lucasfilm

Skeleton Crew was tons of fun, this bodes well.
I.. struggled to get invested in the episodes I watched, and ended up ditching it after 3 or 4 episodes. I genuinely couldn’t tell you any of the plot points. I found it very forgettable.
I loved it. It was Star Wars Goonies.

This does not give me new hope for Star Wars. Kinberg and Watts are good at making box office successes but there’s nothing epic in their story telling.
I don’t even want more Skywalker saga. Episodes 7-9 killed my interest in that story.
