I don't think so! I think these are stools for toads!

something died. did you bury a body there?

There's possibly a dead bunny down there. Under the wood there are some bunny tunnels.

Actually, flora incognita says it's Coprinellus micaceus.

So probably nothing died, but either the wooden boards are rotting or the trees are getting damaged.

Do they have very tiny barely visible glitter on them?

Flora incognita says it's Coprinellus micaceus.

So it probably has some visible glitter, but I may check again tomorrow or so.

Yes the glitters are remnants of the veil so they may wash off with the rain. Still cool to see though.

Also like the moss carpet in your garden!

Dry them and eat them. See what happens.

Mushrooms like these are edible but dangerous when combined with alcohol. Better be sure which ones you are dealing with.

Nah, these are Corpinellus sect. Micacei, Coprinopsis sect. Atramentariae are the ones with coprine which is the the chemical that's dangerous with alcohol. Coprine is actually carcinogenic even without alcohol so it's not recommended you eat "alcohol inkys" at all.

Mica caps are delicious but they cook into nothing so you either dry them to use in stock or let them dissolve into ink in a bowl and use the ink to make pasta or rice.
