Wait, you built this? Can the turtles roam between paddocks freely?

I doubt it. This seems to be a reddit repost bot. A reverse image search of the first image gives a lot of Facebook links, and this reddit post.

okay, I'm blocking this account. this is getting annoying finding cool posts and near zero chance of comments from OP.

other than others commenting this is a bot, or script using user etc.

The only reason I don’t block is to downvote them. If OP jumped into the conversation to say “it’s a repost from [other website] but I really wanted to share!” I’d have a lot more respect for it.

It's puzzling what they would want by creating a bot and posting random shit like this. For likes??

I understand the base motivation. Take what's interesting from reddit and bring it here for discussion or sharing.

I'd do that manually and organically, and add by thoughts to it a post though.

edit: just noticed the derp at the start and corrected

Nah not for likes.
Reddit pissess me off but when I came to lemmy there is no fucking contnet.
So I figured any sub's I'm interested in - I will just repost to lemmy son i can at least use normal apps without ads.
And other people get something to do to - 99 percent are lurkers and commenters not posters so everybody wins except reddit.

I think it's more like a script than a bot. Like they have a toolbar button that says send to Lemmy, and are treating it like a grandma treats Facebook.

I was sad to see this was a bot and not a Tanis post

I sent a paleontologist, paleobotanist, mathematician and a lawyer to your backyard to see if it is safe.
