Nethack, a game from 1984, will parse these wishes as wishing for nothing.

I mean that makes sense…. On the second iteration, you skip the first wish, the second wish is to ignore the third wish and that gets granted and the third wish is nullified, so the only wish is to ignore the third wish. “Nothing”

You don’t need to loop again as everything is satisfied?

The geenie works through one wish at a time so when he gets to the third wish the first one has already been granted and ignoring it doesn't retroactively change anything.

He didn’t actually wish for anything though. He needed to specifically say, “I wish for…”, but since that didn’t happen, none of those should count as wishes. Genie law is very strict when it comes to protocol.

This just feels like a bad idea. The fourth panel is actually the person stuck in a pocket dimension as time moves forward and they are unable to move due to the loop.
