Not yet it isn't. I could make a community called /c/sendme1milliondollars but that doesn't mean people would actually send money.

There is nothing about linux4noobs that says you can't post guides and tutorials. In fact it is quite the opposite. This is written in the sidebar:

From troubleshooting to tutorials, practical tips, news and more, all aspects of Linux are warmly welcome.

Do you consider yourself primarily an expert or a learner?

Is it open to everyone? I have to ask, since yesterday I was accused of being a rapist in an instance with a beef against "tankies", and their behavior was really shitty and shady.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Rules

  • Posts must be relevant to operating systems running the Linux kernel. GNU/Linux or otherwise.
