That minecart maze can kiss my whole ass, though. It wasn't until listening to a MLP crossover fic of all things almost a year later that I discovered there were audio hints for which way to go. I literally mapped the whole maze out on paper. Not sure if that was an issue of playing RealMyst instead of the original but that was one puzzle I could have done without.
Love how well this recreates the island. I can perfectly recognize all the locales.

Ahh, the Selenitic Age... Yeah, that one was all about audio puzzles. IIRC, there was an audio puzzle to get into it (with the keyboard and sliders), then another one to open up the way forward into that maze, and then the maze itself.

The only other audio puzzle I can recall is the water pipes in the forest, which was much more obvious in how the audio related to the puzzle. I have to assume based on the fact that I don't remember any others that those puzzles had other logic- or visual-based clues on how to solve them without the audio cues. I haven't gone back to revisit the game since my first playthough, though, because I was informed that RealMyst is apparently the worst way to play Myst.

What is Inktober?

What is Inktober 52?
Inktober 52 is what happens during the months that aren't October. A new prompt will be posted once a week (typically Thursdays or Fridays.)
How do I join in?
Simply create art based on or inspired by the prompt word. All mediums are welcome, provided they are created by human hands and minds. The submission can be anything from a simple doodle, a sculpture, 3D model, papercraft, painting, etc.
