Under border agreements, China and India can't use guns near their frontier, so they fight with rocks, clubs, rods, and fists.

Hear me out, Bollywood style Kung Fu movies.
Count me in.
I think if you've both got billions of lives at risk you probably want to do stuff like this, an all out war between Indian and China would be brutal - it might even get to WW2 levels of death (80 million or so).

You know you’re right I’ve never posted content before.
Some of us don’t want to have ai powered bot swarms moving content word-for-word from reddit to lemmy seemingly ran by an incel but if you’re into that stuff that’s great.
Honestly, I only care about the content and the interactions I get with people in these comments. I don't care so much that it's content from another platform.
Though, granted, I would prefer if the OP wasn't a computer program. I will concede that much! That part is pretty icky.
Whoa whoa whoa. I was told it was a series of tubes.
The internet is two bottles, one lemon party. Sometimes, there's a horse.

What would they be fighting over?
The sole purpose of these fights is stroking the fragile egos of their respective leaders.
Land the British promised to both of us. To be fair, it has been around 80 years since and at this point we should be settling our differences and planning a joint invasion of England.
Invading the ancestors descendants of the wage slaves whose dead imperial overlords drew the maps is… weird.
Not to mention modern China and India have their own homegrown oligarchies exercising levels of oppression that put the British imperials to shame.
Do you mean descendants? Also the British Empire still exists.
Also in existence are the Chinese and Indian oligarchies currently oppressing over a billion people. Not to mention fighting over a meaningless dumb border.
one of the dozens of land conflicts that are a legacy of the (original) colonial period
Does China even use that west side? Isn't it uninhabited?
