i still run mainly in boymode though i've gotten a bit bolder the past month or so. hoping we can all get to the point where it's no longer necessary soon.
That'd be just lovely. I might be lucky that I'm more butch -- some old men think that I'm just a young man who finally dresses right -- and so boymode for me may not be as traumatic as it is for more femme people.
Spent from saturday til saturday almost entirely out of state for work trips. Was home from the first trip tuesday from noon-ish til about 3am then back on a plane early AF to go to the 2nd trip.
I got to see some cool sights but the travel was super draining and the actual work parts of the trip were super stressful. I saw a skirt I liked in the clearance section of walmart in one of the towns I stayed in and they even had it in my size, but I was like "nah, I'm not sure I'll have room in my carryon", so I passed it up. Then when I got to the next town I was going to be staying in I realized I could have just bought it and worn it for the flight home. So I went to a different walmart but they didn't have that same skirt đ. I did find a different skirt that I do like and am happy I bought but I still wish I would have just gone ahead and gotten the first one.
bad luck about the skirt. travel can be so draining, imo. i hope you got time to unwind.
i hope you and your wife get plenty of well cozy time too! hope you're both feeling better.
decent week. the big highlight is that i was interviewed for the library position i applied for and i think i did pretty well. fingers crossed. it would be nice to be able to contribute to the household again and start saving up for transition-related expenses.
Not great. I'm overloaded at work and missed a project deadline that boss gave me no guidance on except for requirements, and threw competing priorities at me all along the way. I haven't talked to my boss about it because fuck him, he's been overloading me and expecting things to just be fine. Idk if I'm fired or what. I don't know that I care anymore. I'm tired. I hate working for people and then having to manage their expectations. I miss just fixing computers.
And then my weekend was me recovering from a stomach bug, because of course it is đŁ

Had to boymode for an event with my partner's family, which wasn't a ton of fun. I don't know about any of y'all, but I feel like we should get at least a week off every time we have to do something like that.
