pretty well is a understatement, even with being militarily threatened and economicaly blocked they still have better social indicators than "eUrOpEaN sOcDeM"

Given everything they have went through, the DPRK does pretty well. I wouldn't mind going back to see how things have changed since i last had the chance. It had its issues, but a lot of that stemmed from US sanctions, not issues created by their own government.
Don't remind them that Laos exists, they forgot why they were bombing them and stopped.

What If we genocided 20% of everyone on the Korean peninsula, flattened 85% of the structures in NK and then spent 70 years demonizing our victims with ridiculous propaganda and psychotic sanctions. Surely they wouldn't have a functional society. Surely we are the good guys!
