This is happening for me as well, as soon as I open the app :( also on Android. May try uninstalling/reinstalling to see if that helps

EDIT: That seems to have helped! My app is working again now, either way :)

Hmm, this might be be an issue between the lemmy instance and your tablet. What instance are you trying to connect to?
