I'm a leftist on a leftist region of Italy so you'd think not that much but actually I am quite surrounded.

Of course, friends and immediate family are generally aligned with my views (at least on things that matter the most) so not much of an issue there, but outside of that there's been a surge in fascists as of late, then there's the "leftists" who are really just campists with whom I disagree with on very important topics like Ukraine and unfortunately they are very loud to the point the entire left, from the center-center-left of PD to the far far left are all either shy on the topic or openly pro-fascist ruzzians to cater to these campists (there's only a couple exceptions among parties, among the actual people support for Ukraine is higher even among the left) but the worst people of all are probably the apoliticals that likely make up a majority of my generation around me. I have had more pleasant and productive conversations with some fascists or campist "leftists" than many of the apoliticals who actively refuse to engage in politics even when they directly affect them.

So I am not necessarily surrounded by people I fully disagree with on everything (the fascists are still a minority) but I definitely am somewhat surrounded by people who I strongly disagree with on very important topics still.

Why would you use grams for gold (as you should) but then switch to pounds for copper. Are you a lunatic?

Yes. I volunteered for a couple months in Ukraine in a dog shelter and the volunteer kitchen in Lviv. I also volunteer to organize demonstrations in my city and occasionally I edit OpenStreetMap.

Sure, but only one of them is an active threat to everyone and it is not the NEETs, if we're being honest with ourselves.

Vintage Story. It's a very good survival, very customizable experience too.

I think it's a game that shines best in a multiplayer civilization RP tbh but even as a single player game it's a very nice survival. It may look similar to Minecraft at first but it is very very different and in all the good ways.

Plus mod support is so good, by design, even the website itself has 1-click installs.

Oh and it has chiseling.

It's the most popular because it's Ubuntu's default which happens to still be the "default linux distro". Many GNOME users probably don't even know what GNOME or a DE in general is (and that's ok).

If you ask linux nerds, however, KDE generally seems more popular but that's probably because people who care about this sort of thing tend to value customization and KDE's philosophy more than GNOME's.

Source: I use KDE on Arch BTW, guess which category I fall on.

Arch elitists don't want you to know this but you can just type archinstall and a text installer guide thingy will install the system for you based on what you tell it.

That said, you're spot on on the last part. I love arch exactly because it is the easiest one to customize the way I want to but it's not for everyone and not everyone should use it

Forgive my ignorance but I'm not well versed on this and don't quite get it. How exactly does it discriminate against women?

It is one thing to drive a car you hate because it's the only one you can afford. It is another to buy a shitty dumpster on wheels that's more expensive than most cars and is made by a raging fascist.

Then don't translate your game, or crowdsource the translation like NixOS and other FOSS does.

English is a lingua franca for a reason, most people speak it or at least understand it. Now sure: there are people who don't, but if your game has netted you less than $100 that's not something you really need to worry about.
