Empress is a video game cracker, the only active cracker who releases games protected by Denuvo. That's an extremly popular digital rights management system for stop game cracks used by Triple A game publishers. She is also completely nuts and regularly has very odd rants. It appears she's accusing 1337x owners of inserting malware into releases. 1337x is a popular site for accessing torrents of cracked games and one Empress regularly released on.

Oh in that case I admit to pirating hundreds of movies while connected to the wifi on holiday at Disney Land. I'm happy to be a witness in a case if one of these scum bags wish to take on The Mouse.

For the same reason the opinion of someone like Rupert Murdoch matters. Its not about their viewpoint directly as an individual, its the fact they control massive platforms that can and do sway public opinions.

In murdochs case he's had an influential impact on British politics over the last 40 years and has used his media empire to act as a king maker.

Musk isn't as savvy or as intelligent as Murdoch but that doesn't mean is influential position should be ignored.

I like the 4th of July, it's the day of the year the Yanks finally use the correct day / month format.

Oh I think I see myself on that!

This is horrible, how do I get the mods to delete this post? I can't believe this is allowed. You need more than 4 points to ensure best contact with the ground.

1. A straw is a continuous surface without any holes.

If it says removed doesn't that mean its a mod (or admin) action? My understanding is that it would say deleted if the user removed it.

Yeah can see it on desktop now.

I've never made gumbo before but reading the recipie, don't you brown the veg? Wouldn't it also make more sense to make the roux after browning the sausage (and vag) and using the same pan so the roux dissolves the oil and crust from the browned veg&sausage? That recipe feels like it's throwing a lot of flavour away if you follow it as written.

I tried

Yeah +1 on Destiny. My most played game after ARMA2 and I'd not recommend it. It doesn't respect your time and you're expected to just grind the same 3 or 4 events constantly and those don't have any variation to them. Each season roles around with the same event to do each week for the next 12 weeks to get a slight recoloured gun.

I know it's common among MMOs to hyper focus in a small subset but at least alts exist and there's a world to explore. There's virtually no reason to go back to the main world in D2 outside of seasonal events and every area has the same feeling to it. Alts don't really matter either, there's 3 classes that all play almost the same way with slight variation. If I start a Mage or a Warrior in an MMO I'm going to have a different experience and challenge, In D2 the biggest challenge between a Hunter and Warlock is learning how double jumping works. I'm still going to be using the same gun to kill 99.9% of enemies.

The devs also don't care that much about their game. That much is self evident if you followed the recent major DLC release where at the end of the story even the communities own lore experts were scratching their head about what exactly the MacGuffin in the story was. At no point did the writers decide they should tell the players what it is/does even though all of the NPCs talk to you as if you already know.

Dredge

If there are 2 lockers side by side only lock 1. The game always forces dredge into the locked one. If you lock both; he tps to a locked locker, bursts out, destroys the lock on the second. From then on he's free to TP here. If you lock 1; he bursts out, has no other lock to break, you lock the second locker and then when he comes back he hits a locked locker for a second time which wastes more of his time.

You're probably not gonna win loops when he drops the remnant mid chase, just W away amd force him to stop channelling

It's just the host I think as when I refresh it now it shows that it was deleted but it worked a few minutes ago.

I'm new to so still getting to grips. As I understand it, users from different sites in the fediverse have access to others and can share content when federated. Just like I'm on FMHY at Lemmy and you're on feddit.uk, we can still interact on feddit.uk because they're federated. The owner of feddit.uk could decide tomorrow to split from FMHY and I'd still see posts and comments but you wouldn't see my comment here(those in FMHY would see me though). I'd effectively be banned (or in read only mode I suppose) even if the action wasn't taken against me directly.

From what I understand, this is the case between Lemmy.world and BeeHaw at the moment which are 2 of the largest collection of users. The .world users can read BeeHaw and interact with each other there but not with users outside of Lemmy.world.

That's why you have a sporran as well. Handy bag/pocket with dangly bits. Who doesn't love some dangly bits to scare away your enemies.

With disenfranchisement it's probably an even bigger problem here. Who swathes of users being cut off through no fault of their own other than which site they created an account on.

Works for me but the hosting site seems to go down intermittently. Was just a rewrite of the "I made this" meme

That's great for data storage but in everyday speech it's not that useful.

Seen people say that on the PTB that No Mither + Plot Twist directly counters Corrupt Intervention
