But like, a prism only reveals what was already inside that light beam.

I am really happy when people are quite strict in code reviews, it makes me feel safer and I get to learn more.
Nothing worse than some silent approvals with no real feedback. What if I missed something obvious... and now it's merged.
To be fair, I also enjoy getting my grammar corrected. I'm juggling 3 languages and things can get messy.
I'm asexual and I often have friend fantasies, where the interactions are very sweet and fun like in this story, no crushes, romance or sexual tension involved. This story makes me happy and I don't care whatsoever if it actually happened or not.
So much self-monitoring is exhausting. Worse because I think I genuinely go overboard if I don't monitor.
I'm lucky that I've made friends where we literally send essays to each other and don't even have any expectations of a time limit for answering. I probably achieved this by "being annoying" and the friends (who also happen to be autistic for the most part), self-selected.
I was accelerated (though nowhere like this) and for me, personally, it wasn't great. 14 was not the right age for me to decide to be a doctor and enroll. I did the whole thing and I have the diploma but I never worked in the field because I had completely burned out by then.
Of course I'm also AuDHD and maybe my mental health wouldn't be any better in different circumstances, we'll never know.
Same. My partner and I are engaged but there's never going to be a diamond in the picture. If they had found the diamond ritual important, we wouldn't be too compatible.
I also cannot deal with rings in general due to sensory issues.
We do want to find some kind of wearable, interesting symbol though.
This is my problem, I am impulsive and silly enough to still say things, but the way they come out sometimes makes me want to die a little inside and stop being perceived forever.
Sometimes if I am not doing too badly I still can turn it around, where the very failure of delivery can on its own get the laughs (or groans). If I sort of stay with it long enough to express something like "yeah, that was bad wasn't it? want more?". But it does require a minimum of social aptitude like you said, which for me varies a lot.
thanks for using Leebra!
