I'm a childless atheist, if my kid wanted to be baptized, I'd let them, I wouldn't agree with it, but it isn't my choice. If someone baptized my kid without their consent, they'd be going to meet their god.

Oh yeah, I just got aggressively attacked for sharing something I'm proud of, and maybe I picked the wrong community, and maybe I also didn't realize that, depending on someone's chosen feed parameters, they might have seen every post I shared in a row, which is also my bad (I guess?), but as I said to one asshole, it isn't a shit song, we are a good band, and I am a real person just trying my hand at alternative social medias. For sure. We did play it with our hands, and it is a music video, so there is a visual art aspect, but I can concede that it doesn't exactly fit the theme of the community.

I actually didn't know that there was a MappleMusic community, thank you for bringing this to my attention, I appreciate the help. Also, do the posts show up as more than two posts in one community? Or is this a thing where you saw six of the same post across your feed because it was showing multiple communities? I'm honestly curious because I can understand why that would appear spammy.

Not every one, I did try to find relevant communities, being that I am in Toronto, Canada, and neither of those communities explicitly say they are news only, I thought maybe people would respond less harshly, but I guess people strongly dislike anything that isn't news in those actually-not-explicitly-news-communities. Art share was the wrong community, again, as I explained before, my bad, I saw art share and thought, I have art to share! I didn't realize it was basically all hand drawn art, so yeah, I agree, wrong community. Just trying my hand at alternative social medias, again, my bad.
