Since the headline blew it, the game mentioned is called Cosmoteer.

The only reason I stop at Buc-ees when I'm driving past is because they actually clean the bathrooms. Worst part of many road trips is stopping at normal gas stations where the bathroom hasn't been touched by a cleaning product in a very long time.

From the third sentence in the wiki page:

It is, however, so extremely reactive that it is not encountered in everyday life.

So yeah, not at all stable.

This is why I never got into Twitter. The OP is in the middle, the reply is is at the bottom, and the OP's reply to that response is at the top. How does that order make sense?

The 3 inch nails protruding through the rails are much more complaint-worthy than the too-tall pickets.

Lol dental work isn't covered under health insurance. Teeth are luxury bones that only the rich are allowed to keep!

We can't have a third party that is viable while we have first past the post voting. We need election reform to include new voting procedures like ranked choice voting or something similar along with the elimination of gerrymandering.

If only management had the capability to assess performance of WFH employees through metrics other than time in the seat. Impossible without managers doing more work though, so I guess the only solution is to make everyobe come to the office every day.

SDOT posted a response to this protest.

Basically, their justification for not listening to the community boils down to, "but it will slow down car traffic!"

They completely ignored the fact that reliable public transit and cycling/walking infrastructure are basically the only ways to reduce car traffic, by getting drivers out of their cars and into the far more efficient options.

Just remember, it takes less delta v to shoot things out of the solar system than it does to shoot them into the sun.

April 30th 2011 is the turning point. Obama roasted Trump so hard at the White House Correspondent's dinner that night that Trump locked in on running for president out of nothing more than pure spite.

Donald Trump is here tonight! Now, I know that he's taken some flak lately, but no one is happier, no one is prouder to put this birth certificate matter to rest than the Donald. And that's because he can finally get back to focusing on the issues that matter—like, did we fake the moon landing? What really happened in Roswell? And where are Biggie and Tupac?

But all kidding aside, obviously, we all know about your credentials and breadth of experience. For example—no, seriously, just recently, in an episode of Celebrity Apprentice—at the steakhouse, the men's cooking team cooking did not impress the judges from Omaha Steaks. And there was a lot of blame to go around. But you, Mr. Trump, recognized that the real problem was a lack of leadership. And so ultimately, you didn't blame Lil Jon or Meatloaf. You fired Gary Busey. And these are the kind of decisions that would keep me up at night.

I fell into this trap. We have a nice, fancy, efficient EV that's my daily driver, and a larger, less efficient gas vehicle that doubles as the family car/road trip machine that she dailies. We work roughly the same distance from our offices, but on days when she has to go across town on an errand, she takes the EV. It makes sense to save gas and whatnot.

Rims are fucked. I think she's rubbed them on every available curb in a 25 mile radius. She doesn't care. Fuck me for wanting a nice car I guess.

Folks, that's not loincloths work. It's a single strip of cloth that starts in the front, goes over the loop of cord, then through the legs and up over the loop of cord in the back. It's not just two flaps of fabric hanging down in the front and back.

The only thing that will keep Trump off the ballot at this point is his death.

Not sure if his death will do it. I can imagine them doing a Weekend at Bernie's with him until after election day.

How exactly does a motorcycle that gets 60 mpg (3.92 l/100 km) take more energy to move a single person that a car that gets 25 mpg (9.4 l/100 km)? Notice that almost nobody carpools in America, which is the subject of this post.

Also note that almost all motorcycles sold worldwide comply with Euro 5 emissions standards.
