You just made me realise a non-zero amount of people have this view and post/behave however they want - leading to instance closures and defederations

“[Netflix] members pay as much attention to midroll ads as they do to the shows and movies themselves,” Amy Reinhard, president of advertising at Netflix, said, per the publication.
In terms of attention, she's either lying or admitting that members barely pay attention to their content.
first rule of english pronunciation: there are no rules. All that matters is if people understand what you mean when you say it.
I gave up on this discussion when you have to consider gin, generate, giraffe, gene, gym, etc
Also I pronounce it with the soft sound because that's what it sounds like in the bloody alphabet.
"Dublin City Council do not want anyone to touch any work of art whether indoors or outdoors to avoid damage and costly repairs," a spokesperson said.
However, [The council] said that these options (moving the statue/raising the plinth) would be "costly", adding that placing a railing around the artwork "may increase risk".
So it would be be less costly to just leave it? I swear, this subject is not indecent enough to warrant this amount of attention, resources, nor effort. Please work on something else.
Bystander Effect occurs when specific conditions are met and is not just a prevailing rule of human behavior.
The original incident that inspired this phenomenon was shown to be overly exaggerated to reinforce the idea of the inherently violent and apathetic human - which does sell well in newspapers back then and social media now.
If the attack was non-ambiguous, percieved as a high danger/emergency, against the social order/ group cohesion, and bystanders feels competent - do you think you wouldn't get help? Stop being sold that you are alone and everyone else are apathetic uncaring "humans", humans legitimately wouldn't have gotten this far as a species without helping one another.
Our ancestors presumed we wouldn't be stupid enough to stop eating fruit and didn't bother specing into vitaman C production.
They also presumed we wouldn't sail the seas for long distances with only salted meats and booze so jokes on them 👈👈
I have to keep relearning the old lesson—as I am once again with this Pixel 4a fiasco—that cheap gear is not always the best value in the long run.
Not the conclusion I would've gone with but Google fans at this point aren't particularly pro-consumer
Battery performance took a dive after the Nothing OS 3 update (8.5-12 hours to barely 8 hours).
Photos seem LQ despite having two 50MP cameras
Noticeable green tint at low brightness settings probably due to LQ OLES displays.
Grievances with Nothing's update philosophy where they seem to:
Frustrated with the fact that they seem to releasing the 3a before the 3.
Likes the glyph system
still recommends for the price range but does not recommend for a "good experience"
Women aren't genetically more empathetic than men; the way power has been traditionally distributed since civilisation began, it has always been the burden of women to understand men. —Rutger Bregman, Humankind: A hopeful history
Reminded me of this excerpt from a somewhat optimisitic but delightful read about how the transition from hunter-gatherer nomadic/"the commons" to agricultural/private property created numerous cascading effects — one of which was how women went from active equal members (yes, even hunting) to being secondary members and essentially property. Women, even to this day, have the onus to understand men/others while men have historically had the expectation to not understand women or others.
edit: repetitive grammar
