I dunno, Aldi and Lidl in the UK have half decent cola, lemonade and other flavours of fizzy drinks. Their iced tea isn't too bad either.

When the price difference is less than £1 per 2Litre bottle or over £3 for the branded stuff I'll put up with the difference.

I am liking the BBC playing the large orange pant shitter at his own game and him hating it.

I hold all news outlets in the same regard, they sensationalise or ignore when it suits them and are there as Ad space more than anything for the most part. Clickbait. Clickbait. Clickbait. Traffic, Ads, REVENUE.

The cycle has kinda put me off most news sites/feeds.

Great. So managing printers, network settings and quickly comparing settings from two places becomes a weird game of screenshots and guessing.

Remote support workers of the world collectively shake their fist in despair.

No way on this planet I will be able to explain the new UI to your average office worker.

AI generated content is great and all but it drowns out everything else on there. Anyone can type a prompt and generate a great looking image with a couple of attempts these days it seems.

The people spending days, weeks, months and more on a piece can't keep up.

What about the 'American' companies that plonked their headquarters in Ireland for tax purposes?

Surely that makes them Irish for tarrif purposes?

Easy. It's a scam to screw over anyone they feel like.

It stopped being a can the applicant afford their current outgoings and afford this loan type system a loooong time ago. Now it's a noose round the neck of anyone that has ever lost a job and missed a couple of payments or got screwed over by a company changing billing software. The number means nothing, I'm sure on some kind of grading curve it averages out but so would throwing darts at a board and assigning scores that way.

The rich fail up and everyone else has to play by the rules or get fucked over.

/Rant over

More AI bubble bullshit.

Shockingly if you create a product no one wanted or needed it sells badly.

I've been using Firefox at home for as long as I can remember. I've not found anything I can't do with it yet.

If something doesn't work you can always try it in edge of something either way.

Birthdays late December/early January suck.

Everyone is busy, everywhere puts the prices up if you do manage to get people together and then there's the joint Xmas and birthday gifts, ugh.

Anon needs to get out to a all you can eat buffet, eat a good meal go home and sleep it off. Probably won't land them a partner but they'll get to try a bunch of foods and have a conversation starter for when they do meet up with someone.

Cap guns, potato guns, water guns, just plain clicky/sparky/light up guns and so on, guns for kids are nothing new. Fidget in the name is a gimmick to use bright colours and sell plastic guns to more kids.

14 hours into writing the script that was going to save you from doing the task yourself and you can't quit now, too much time has been put into this endeavour.

I really don't see the point in them restricting the NSFW stuff. Some stuff will slip through, it'll lead to posts being made in ways to try and reach the most people and get around it.

Then there will be arguments and someone will say think of the children or something.

Nintendo being Nintendo. They've killed websites, device vendors, projects and more. Otherwise Liksang and Bung would still be around. They take the same destroyer of worlds tactic to any meetings. Crush the opposition, no survivors.

This time I think the internet may surprise them, unless they just get a blanket order on anyone hosting copies of the code or related materiels.

The first generation DS could play GBA games.

The original Wii could play GameCube games.

The 3DS ran DS games.

The GBA ran GB and GBC games.

The WiiU could run most Wii games.

Nintendo has history making backwards compatibility a selling point of it help sell consoles.

Didn't The Incredibles have a backstory like that where supes are basically illegal after they caused too much collateral damage?
