I'm pretty happy with libre office. Not keen on AI code

Reminds me of the game where you awaken as monstrous vermin Jeff Bezos: https://direkris.itch.io/you-are-jeff-bezos
Except that one you can use the money for good
I bring it up a lot but the book "dying of whiteness" was a horrifying look into this. A significant amount of people don't want national health care, even if it means they themselves get sick and die, because then those people would get it.
The money facts don't matter. It's just emotional sludge.
I often find it's hard to really capture lyrics just writing them out.
"The weather never really matterered it was just something there was to talk about
We fall into patterns and habits and there's not much we can do about that
Rearrange the room again I want to live somewhere as small as i feel when i fall asleep or wake up"
Little known band joyride! is a consistent favorite of mine.
On September 29, federal prosecutor Jerome Morgan, assisted by FBI agent Jennifer Runyan, publicly charged a Michigan nurse with assisting the escape of a man held by ICE from a hospital.
That sure is a guy with a name and probably address.
People making the decisions are removed from how work gets done, how users engage with the product, and any real consequences. But they keep most the profits despite contributing minimally.
Not sure what the clichés about Fate are. I think it's a fun light system.
Also there are dozens of us who prefer vampire: the requiem over masquerade. Dozens! I recently started a game of it. So far they killed 3 CEOs and blew up a data center (in the game).
It's been fun seeing the DND player adapt to "wait I can just do my cool thing as much as I want?". Like he was going to punch a dude and I was like "are you sure you don't want to just Mesmerize him? It's free and more likely to work, given your stats"
When you're interfacing with the world emotionally, that's how it goes. I mean, we're all emotional, but for some people that's the bulk of it. Emotions create reality. For other people they're more advisory.
I knew a guy that worked at a company that had something like that. You had to walk your snes-style sprite around the virtual office. If you walked up to someone's avatar you could start a meeting. You could move your guy around to indicate you were at lunch or working or whatever.
Seems extremely wasteful to me but a lot of people there liked it.
Millions of dollars spent to replace status messages and what slack/teams already do. There's no mechanism to keep it in sync with reality so it's not even especially accurate.
A real stretch to call that efficient.
I don't know how many people have the absolute position that it "can't be used as a tool to improve anything".
There's a lot of "it's risky and expensive and anti-labor, so I don't think we should be pouring all this effort into it"
Aside from the possibility of me being unclear, your extremely aggressive response is uncalled for. Furthermore, "everyone" is not evident given there's a total of 3 votes on the post.
My intended point was it would be nice if people were better, and could admit fault. They can't. That's a common human behavior that's infuriating. They'd rather double down. I was agreeing with you.
