We don't have enough information. As long as she kept her work in school separated from her OnlyFans, I see nothing wrong with her having a second job.

This sentence is ambiguous:

Among them is allegedly posting material on public social media accounts that "involves the sexualization of the school environment."

Is this implying that she took any of her OnlyFans pictures while inside the school? That wouldn't be okay. But if what it is referring to, as she alleges, is that she took pictures elsewhere while wearing a school uniform, then the only thing that matters in my mind is whether it was a generic school uniform or the specific uniform used at the school she worked at.

We are generally very hypocritical in matters surrounding porn and sex work.

Can we stop humiliating men for having small dicks? Penis size is something people don't choose and can't change, like their skin color or their sexual orientation.

Those trying to project a "tough guy" appearance are deeply insecure. They have this idea that if they show vulnerability then other people will think less of them and they will be victimized. People don't learn this sort of coping behavior when they are raised in a loving nurturing environment.

They don't have small dicks. They are scared.

When the middle class struggles, they eventually embrace anybody who promises a break from the status quo.

Moderate parties need to ask themselves what have they done so poorly that these extremists are now becoming popular. We've seen these sort of authoritarian far-right movements across the globe and I'm not seeing moderates offer a great answer.

Personally, I would rather see a shift towards a sustainable future where the necessities of life, such as food, housing, education, health care and public transit were enshrined.

But I need my lifted pickup truck To hAUl ThInGS. How can I go grocery shopping without a vehicle the size of a minibus? And how would other people know how strong and wealthy I am if I were to walk, ride a bike or use transit? I need a big metal box around me to protect my insecurity.

I suggest choosing your parents carefully. They should be elderly and in poor health, and most importantly they must own a house not too far from Toronto.

In Canada we see cars hitting buildings much more often than buses hitting buildings. There are likely multiple reasons for that, but one factor is surely that the number of drunk bus drivers speeding down the streets is much lower.

Obtaining a driving license is too easy and losing it is too hard.

Things have gotten so bad that I'm willing to vote for whoever takes the most significant measures to make housing affordable. Here's a half-baked assortment of the sort of policies that would either increase supply or reduce demand:

  1. Allow mixed-use medium-density housing in areas that now allow only single-family homes. Allow mixed-use high-density housing to be built in proximity to subway, train, bus stations.

  2. Reduce the taxes and paperwork required to (re)build a home.

  3. Pay several architecture firms to design a variety of housing and offer those projects free of charge to the public. A la "Vancouver Special".

  4. Use public land to build social housing below market rates

  5. Municipalities buying old apartment buildings and renting them out below current market rates

  6. Maintain a central registry of who owns what housing and who lives there (necessary for the policies below). This can be used to audit abuses

  7. Raise property taxes on vacant housing

  8. Introduce a new yearly anti-speculation tax that depends on the owner of the unit:

    • Canadian citizens: 0%.
    • Permanent residents and people with work permits: 0%.
    • Companies established in Canada:
      • Single-family dwelling: 5%.
      • Dwelling between two and 6 units: 2%
      • Housing with more units: 0%
    • All other assumptions: 10% <-- this includes foreign investors
  9. Halve immigration targets until housing crisis is over

Edit: 10. Eliminate parking minimums. Let business decide how much parking they need.

In some countries like Spain it is perfectly legal to be fully naked in any public space as long as you are not being sexually explicit. The Euro dude likely assumed this was the case in Italy as well -- I'm actually surprised that they had a problem with somebody in their underwear; it sounds prudish.

I didn't even know drag camps for kids existed until these fundamentalists started complaining about them. Now I'm considering bringing my kids there so that they get a taste of why we still need things like the pride parade.

It is very much moving forward. Senator Marco Rubio has stated that he takes David Grusch's testimony seriously. Rubio is a member of the Gang of Eight, the group of people in Congress who receive the most sensitive US intelligence.

Rubio has stated that Grusch is not the only whistleblower who has come forward and testified to Congress. According to him, over the last two years there have been multiple other highly-ranked officials sharing with Congress their first-hand knowledge of secret programs to reverse-engineer non-human technology, corroborating Grusch's claims.

Senator Gillibrand and Rep. Burchett have publicly announced that in the coming months they intend to hold public hearings to hear the evidence put forth by Grusch and other UFO whistleblowers in various committees in Congress.

If you find the subject intriguing and would like to learn more, I can recommend the podcast Need to Know by Ross Coulthart and Bryce Zabel. Other good sources of information that have also been proven reliable in the past few years are The Debrief and Liberation Times.

It is still worth outlawing their use and their sale. As sales are outlawed in enough places, people will gradually phase them out.

> throw in some single-payer, universal healthcare

When you do that, don't forget to include coverage for the stuff around your head: dental care, eyeglasses and mental health. Many countries forgot to include coverage for these things and it is a shitshow.

Indeed there is a broader conversation about what amounts to "inappropriate conduct" outside the workplace. Assuming the person isn't doing anything illegal and maintains their work at arm's length, does the employer get to police what they do outside of their working hours?

If a teacher hustling as a sex worker in her free time is grounds for dismissal, would a teacher hiring the services of a sex worker in his free time also be a fire able offense?

Everybody understands that a person on a bike is in a very vulnerable situation. 99% of drivers respond to that by being considerate, while the remaining 1% take advantage of that power differential to bully their neighbours.

I don't have a silver bullet solution, but there are many things we could do to help. Personally, I would start by providing a better cycling experience around schools, which can be done with inexpensive traffic calming measures such as in-street crosswalk signs, raised crosswalks, etc. Traffic calming protects all children, including those who walk and bike to school, and people who grow up riding bicycles are going to be more considerate to cyclists when they drive a car.

I don't know who is downvoting you because you are completely right.

At the same time, I am delighted at the idea of a bunch of speculators being stressed out and losing a ton of the money they obtained while making housing unaffordable for everybody else.

Housing can be affordable or it can be a good investment. It can't be both, and it is time it starts being the former.

When I first got the Aeropress I experimented a bit. All good fun, but in the end I have settled on following basically Hoffmann's recipe. It is easy to remember, easy to perform, and produces consistently yummy results.

Instead of spending time finding other recipes, I would focus on finding better coffee beans.

In the absence of evidence to the contrary, presumption of fault should always be on the motorized vehicle first, and then on the heaviest vehicle otherwise. Trucks > Cars > Motorbikes > E-Bikes > Bicycles > Pedestrians.
