cool idea but i think this gives them too much credit. libs blindly support every war and blindly swallow every hot distraction, while believing they do neither. i think it is too kind to focus on just the coups.

was 404 for me a bit. now seems fine? which led me to want to ask: when lemmygrad is down where should we all go to ask questions etc.? i searched the web but i mostly found older times when people asked, ”is lemmygrad down?” is there a friendly instance that isnt overloaded (like lemmy.ml)? a backup community?
I'm a bad leftist and of course a fed. Also a famous internet troll. I'm just here to learn the real facts about Stalin and to buy stonks.
I got laughed at for carrying a Marx book in college. You guys should check him out though he's got some good points.
I was very lazy and out of touch in my political outlook until a certain trump and podcast explosion led me down a gross lib rabithole. Of course soon I found more radical podcasts, and now I listen to them all the time as surrogate friends. It feels like real smart people are talking and laughing with me.
I am currently reading Huckleberry Finn.
I need more education before I can answer the class thing. I don't own anything, and I'm definitely not going to be able to retire or get sick, like, ever. But in the short term I am paid more than a lot of workers. 🤷♂️
nations should stop tolerating the laundering of responsibility. a country using individuals or private companies to project its power / do its violence etc. must be held culpable, otherwise it is too easy to get away with stuff
we should stop acting like hiring mercs is a loophole
i took a stranger approach. i went to ”all” and viewed new, doom scrolled and added every community i found. then did same with ”active day”, ”active month”, etc. and just kept choosing new sorts and doom scrollin.
this is a really good point. a lot of toxic socialization relies heavily on ”get in line or else”--a lot of schools, teachers, families, workplaces use this move on individuals without considering the context involved. it is a very good point. they often don't know any better and probably have a mountain of trama themselves and have decided this is just the way grownup life works. it's a big chain reaction man
maybe ”the” is incortect then. if it is meant to be anything but unambiguous it would have been ”a Chinese language” never ”the” Chinese language. this leaves us with two mysteries. 1. which language could they possibly have meant? 2. how insulted should we be?
thanks for using Leebra!
