I find it funny that they're insulating new players more, but the fact of the matter is that if you go to null sector (is that what it is called?) you either survive or you don't. It is one of the most stressful mmo's out there if you're not used to it.
Spreadsheets in space. I dunno, I never got into the combat, but I did like role playing a solo miner and sold to many corps the raw materials needed for their nonsense. Once I could pay for my sub with ISK I was done. It became a second job and definitely not fun any more.

I've been chewed up and shit out by EVE so many times... I just can't care anymore. If you love it, good on ya, but damn, the universe is a brutal, unforgiving hellscape.
