Yeah, probably bunk, but a sweet fiction (pun intended)

I can vouch for this. I cut the cake.

I will never forget the screaming for as long as I live.

Doing good things and then talking about them is one way of making the world better. Better even than just doing good things. Iยดd much rather have bots/spammers post stuff like this than the endless fear and hate they usually post.

I guarantee something like this has happened somewhere. These stories don't come from thin air. Most stories hold a grain of truth. Was it really a cake? Was it really a birthday? Who knows, could be lunch, a toy or a piece of clothing. The store could be anything. Don't be so dark, people. Yes, this story probably didn't happen like this. But A story like this has happened.

A community featuring uplifting and wholesome news stories that overlook deeply ingrained systemic problems.

The rules:

1. Your post must be an unironic presentation of a wholesome story, but one that overlooks systemic failures that made the story possible in the first place. In other words, we want posts that highlight "Yay, the problem is solved!", but ignore "Wait, why was this a problem in the first place?" at the same time.

2. Re-posts will be removed at mod discretion.

3. Sitewide rules apply. Basically, (a) don't be a dick; (b) use the NSFW tag; (c) no spam; (d) don't attack people; and (e) don't abuse the report button.
