Irony alert: OpenAI whines that Chinese model stole its special IP that it stole from everybody else

Wow, if only there were some sort of standard we could hold companies accountable to. Like laws or something.
Oh well, lose some lose some.
Sorry but if we enforce laws against techbro billionaires the Chinese will win!!
You should trust me when I try to distract you with a fear of the other because I speak like you do and look like you!
Please don't think to hard about it though, it is just the way things are.
All the shit that AI has stolen should be the reason our government uses to make AI a public asset. There shouldn't be a single company profiting when their core business model is on stealing other people's work.
Iām genuinely baffled at how Scam Altman et al expect anyone to take them seriously when this sort of idiocy spews out of them on such a regular basis
Jon Stewart interviews the guy who termed the phrase about enshittification, but this is more about AI. He pops a lot of idea bubbles and well worth the time spent watching.
AI and the Enshittification Era w/ Cory Doctorow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dAIJRjb-Bw
A real race for worst has them all included. Even the shenanigans from multiple AI companies surrounding the Navier-Stokes millenium problem being solved demonstrates the depravity.

They are framing 'sending thousands of queries to learn its reasoning' as some huge crime. There was nothing in the terms of service and no IP stolen. Cry babies. Meanwhile they rely on a mountain of stolen data.
Also, as a researcher when we use LLMs (rarely tbh but still) we have to ask for and trace reasoning. Its a requirement to use them right.
