Popping out like a MANPAD Before engaging thrust
I know this is a dual concern for bat houses.
One should leave 12ft/3m of space under a bat house, because the bats drop out around half of that height, so they need clearance.
The other half of that clearance is so that other animals, especially our springy feline friends, can't just sit under it like it's a food dispenser! 😼
12 feet is more than 3.6 meters. (just don't want any bonked bat heads or fat cats)
Usually I have to convert units myself, but I thought I had gotten lucky this time.

I clicked through, and the "3" is linked to a PDF from a Canadian Bat org that says 3 meters (no feet given).
So it looks like you're the first person that checked anyone's work.
Looking at more sources, 12 feet good, 20 feet better seems the most common answer, with a few still saying 9 feet (2.74 meters) is minimum.

Like Fujinokawa off the lines ;)
We've enjoyed him and Asakoryu so much this basho! Watching Day 14 last night, seeing Asakoryu make Ura look like a big guy had me chuckling.
They're so explosive and seeing them take out much larger rikishi are some of the most exciting bits for us. The wifey has gotten very much into it this month, though it doesn't hurt she's an Aonishiki fan. She gets a lot to cheer about.
My Youtube feed spoiled day 14 and 15 for me, but all my fav guys were out of the running by then anyway. Booo. I wanted to participate in the community chats, but I missed the start date and only randomly bumped into I think it was the Day 6 post when scrolling /All, so I've been avoiding your community since then! 😇 I'm excited to go back and read them tomorrow though. Day 12 or 13, where they had the 4 mono-ii was so amazing to watch!

If you find an injured owl:
Note your exact location so the owl can be released back where it came from. Contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitation specialist to get correct advice and immediate assistance.
Minimize stress for the owl. If you can catch it, toss a towel or sweater over it and get it in a cardboard box or pet carrier. It should have room to be comfortable but not so much it can panic and injure itself. If you can’t catch it, keep people and animals away until help can come.
Do not give food or water! If you feed them the wrong thing or give them water improperly, you can accidentally kill them. It can also cause problems if they require anesthesia once help arrives, complicating procedures and costing valuable time.
If it is a baby owl, and it looks safe and uninjured, leave it be. Time on the ground is part of their growing up. They can fly to some extent and climb trees. If animals or people are nearby, put it up on a branch so it’s safe. If it’s injured, follow the above advice.
