Another update on my me and my wife's competition on tomatoes

I can't say I know who is winning. But what I can say is we both won the prize.
Mine are. I put them in a hydroponic container. They are meant for outdoors, so I had to really tape them
No tape, but if you look at the lower left, you will see we recruited/enslaved a family of three to hold one of the stems up.
Most of it was just positioning, trimming, or anchoring from the bottom (like the enslaved family of three) for me
If by that, you mean did I gently shake the flowers any time I walked by them? Then yes hehe
Looks like a lot of greenery for plants that small, think you could be much more aggressive with trimming and removing side shoots. You'd really only need a handful of leaf branches to support that number of fruit trusses, especially in a nutrient dense hydroponic setup.
I do not know a whole lot about plants at the moment, my thoughts were that I do not want it to get so high.
Typical tomatoes you let grow as tall as you need them then pinch out the growing end, this pushes all the growth sideways and starts it throwing out fruit trusses. Then militantly pinch out any side shoots that grow from the existing branches. Stops the plant putting all it's energy into leafy growth and forcing it into the fruits.
With grow lights and hydro you really don't need many leaves for energy.
I will do this
This is so wholesome! Thanks for sharing
