I saw a meme on facebook of Trump giving an anti-trans speech, and I knew it was bullshit. Not because Trump isn't anti-trans (he is, don't know happened to him to make him that way, he was one of the people against bathroom bans initially... If the US invades the Canadian armed forces can fully clear out and disperse arms and explosive supplies far and wide to ex military and reservists, and despite gun laws passed and attempts at confiscations there are a fuckload of guns available in civilian hands that could be used by smaller groups, and for explosives we have tons of reserves for precursors that could be used in manufacture of IEDs.
