you pay taxes for the same way you pay for utility use. you are paying for the services of your town. police, fire, schools, roads, etc.

Yeah, I am not saying you don't work or find a way to pay those necessary bills. I literally said not being a pest, and that means not butting in the business of others unnecessarily. Like, there is an unspoken context in what Tom Hardy is saying; he ain't saying don't work or earn money to pay the bills.
