Chinese people own their homes too
Even with more property rights. If you own a house and you don't want to sell it when they want to build a new highway, they build the highway surrounding your house, instead of expropriating you like in western countries.

tbh living there in the middle of a highway would be hell
it is disappointing how despite how ahead china is in terms of public transit, they still build car-centric infrastructure like this. at least, unlike north america, shitty car-centric infrastructure is not all there is lol
If you'll notice, it's a 4 lane highway, which is medium level traffic, because most people take the train or electric scooters. In America this would be an 8 lane highway or bigger.
I've never had to use the term 'Passive-Aggressive Infrastructure' before but I'm here for it and loving it

Spite houses, but I like yours, too
Should have taken the settlement.
That's why it's important to recognize that the state serves its ruling class, which in China's case is the proletariat. That's why they are far more leniant and even allowed this situation in the first place.
Tell that to the farmhouse in the middle of the M62.
Not quite the same as it was to do with the landscape, but one of my personal favourites:
It is absolutely maddening to see American pundits defend every dumbshit, ruinous, genocidal policy over the last twenty years by pointing at China and claiming, "We had to show them we were the boss".
From AI to A-bombs, there's nothing you can't get away with by insisting "China Bad! This will stop them!"
We are operating from a position of strength!
And not even the country's, just that of a few old pedophiles trying to rape some life out of children in a vain attempt to feel youth again before the grave takes them
The US is basically a "this is good for bitcoin", but as a country.
Its slow, humiliating, public suicide is even more pathetic than great britain's.
I, for one, think it's funny.
China: "Wow they're a lot less tough than we thought"
They lost how many soldiers in that?
I'm not sure how many US imperial troops died, but they did lose a good amount of aircraft:

So glad that American's voted for the "No more wars" president while hoping for a better cost of living.
The US is not a democracy, its a one-party capitalist empire, and even its controlled opposition wing wanted to go to war with Iran for a long time. The democrats under Biden also massively increased funding to Israel to help destroy palestine:

I'd put money on China being able to pwn the USA with the click of a button. We know about salt typhoon, and there's been documented backdoors in IoT devices and some Unitree bots. Imagine all the things we don't know about. Especially regarding power generation and general aging infrastructure.
Buddy, I could tell you that based on the fact that they've lost every single war they've been in since WWII.
Tell that to Saddam and Gaddafi.
lol the downvote. Did those governments that no longer exist actually win the wars that caused them to cease existing?
*this doesn't mean they were good or justified. If anyone thinks I implied or said that you need to learn how to read.
No, but the resulting insurgency forced America out in retreat? Do you think America won't he Iraq war lmao?
1st Iraq was a clear win, both militarily and strategically. 2nd Iraq and Libya were strategic victories because the real purpose was to maintain the petrodollar, which was attained.
Do you think Saddam's government won? The US won the war with Iraq if not the war with the insurgency.
Americans should consider doing mathematical convolution instead. Very important for functional analysis with deep connections to the Laplace, and thus Fourier, transforms.

Oh no, debate clubs are actually very good at teaching kids how to discern good information from bad, and how to make proper arguments with supporting evidence. Right wing media teaches gish gallop and never be wrong, it's these two ideas that have taken over discourse.
China and Iran are allies.
If the US and China go to war Iran will close the strait to their enemies. And we’ve seen the US is impotent to that and overly reliant on oil.
I think China just has to deal with a first strike from the US and then wait for an impotent United States to fall apart and starve.
Is that the person who publishes the Epoch times in Canada? Or is it the Falun gong nut cases? Someone entirely different who I havent heard of yet? Please I need to know what propaganda machine published this.
No just some Singaporean Professor. His twitter handle is in the image. https://x.com/henrygao
Oh no his account has been suspended.
Not an idiot they are an intelligence asset. When all the evidence shows America couldn’t have and isn’t winning the war, anyone pushing the war agenda isn’t just a retard they are probably knowingly pushing the psyop. Any blue check claiming America has done anything but blunder this entire conflict probably gets paid by the CIA
The operation you mean?
And as His Orangeness has said, Ghina is expensive.
The war was a shit show by a shitty government.
By a shitty country*
China couldn't give a shit about supposed US deterrence.
Henry knows that, he also knows that China receives the largest share of oil exports passing through the Strait of Hormuz, accounting for 37.7% of the trade route's total volume.
That is why they had their own blockade.
And yet oil prices in China did not move once during the entirety of the US' bitchfit.
So...
The US didn't have a plan, lmao. Israel convinced them that Iran would fall in days or weeks. Israel is a bloodthirsty settler colonial project and Americans are removed. A match made in heaven.
I find that hard to believe, since the prices rose everywhere in the world, proof?
Literally any news source. Here's one. But every one has wrote about how "China has confounded analysts"
Okay, fine, but this report says nothing about prices for consumers.
Love your instance name
Ah yes, Henry Gao the race traitor. Heh.
So you're saying distracting Americans from the Epstein files had nothing to do with it? LOLOL
Americans famously can't hold more than one idea at time
This but unironically.
liberals are perpetually born-yesterday.
We had a good run, it's time for the mole people to have a chance.
We've got enough C.H.U.D's on the surface already, lol
Hong Kong, the city that Britain commandeered from the Chinese?
by taking hong kong back
And returning it to British imperial rule?
This plan is around 100 years out of date
Rhodesia is that way → ....oops, too soon?

hey usa, china is building tons of high-speed rail. they're the leaders in decarbonizing their energy mix. they're building tons of housing to handle population growth. they're financing infrastructure projects in the global south. why not try beating them at all that?
no? just wars again? okay.
