I made this comment because self censorship is a problematic pattern that should have no place on the Fediverse. Saying nothing is equivalent to endorsement, to which I cannot morally oblige.

If they don’t want to swear they could say “freaking” rather than fucking like a good Christian middle schooler. They still want to swear, they’re just cowards who also want algorithmic engagement on corporate social media, and that’s the issue people have.

that means it’s the literal translation, or the actual meaning of the foreign title while the german translators used something different. in this case there was no german title
for example, on the article for EarthBound, you have:

- Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.

- No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
