This is absolutely hilarious and couldn't happen to the nicest people however few there are.
Trump Mobile Replies With The Message “We Have No Team To Handle This” When Informed Of A Hack That Stole The Data Of All Of Its 3,615 Subscribers, And Then Resorts To Calling The Hackers “Terrorists”

This is absolutely hilarious and couldn't happen to the nicest people however few there are.
I mean, all in all that's less than I'd have thought it'd be. Kind of makes me feel better about things to be honest. I've had more than 3600 people engage with shit I've made and I'm nobody.
I wonder how many also bought his shitty shoes, the shitty watch, his overpriced gas station quality knife, his crypto, fElon's crypto...
I just feel bad for the two or three journalists who only subscribed to get the sauce
the company's spokesperson then added the nugget that they were still evaluating whether they needed to inform the affected customers
Very on brand.
Really doubt they have a Legal, Risk, and Compliance team to help them navigate state-specific laws
Only 3600 subscribers 🤣😭
How many of them are content creators who were either rightoids given the phones for free or just got it to make fun of it on their videos
I'm more surprised that 3600 switched. I mean even among his most ardent followers there seems to be an understanding that he's not good business.
Interesting enough article, and thank you for sharing. But can we talk for a moment about the "About the author" and his apparent inability to decide whether that section should be in first- or third-person?
About the author: Writing is my one incontrovertible passion. Over the past six years, he has authored over 2,200 distinct articles on financial and tech-related topics, spanning nearly 1 million words. And he has been a member of Wcctech mobile team since 2025. As an alumnus of the University of Toronto, Rotman Commerce Program, I bring nuance, in-depth knowledge, and a unique perspective to every topic that I cover. When I'm not writing, I'm traveling the world, exploring hidden confectionaries and restaurants as an aspiring food connoisseur.
Sounds like it was written by the author originally, then an editor or manager went “this doesn’t sound impressive enough. We need more metrics and hard numbers”. So they copy-pasted some third-person content from the author’s Wikipedia page, before sending it to the site.
Wow, a single small village of Trump Mobile subscribers will be very mad!
How do you determine who is the village idiot?
It's kind of like how all the world's best athletes congregate for the Olympics, everyone there is great at what they do, otherwise they wouldn't be there.
This is like that, except exactly the opposite. They're all idiots. Delegations from individual towns, having a contest of supreme dunceness.
It wasn't the terrorists, it was Biden
Wait they only have 3,000 customers. How is that not the main story here, who cares if their data was hacked, if they are a custom of trump mobile they're probably the sort of idiot that posts their photos credit card on Facebook anyway
Which almost seems like the reverse double con.
There was never a phone in the first place. Never expected to be. It was all a scam to get lefty YouTubers to buy a thing that doesn't exist because they were going to shit all over it.
Lotta effort and embarrassment to get maybe a gross profit in the low 5 figures. Take into account the actual work to get it to that point, even a brick dropshipped from China is gonna cost something to send, and they certainly lost money on the con
I didn't think "Trump Mobile Subscribers" would be a big enough pool of people to be a tempting target for hackers...That's a lot of work for a list of trailer-parks...
To be fair to the hackers, it is a list of the people most gullible and least able to admit being fooled.
Nah, that's a highly gullible set of the populace. Prime target for further scams.
Please seek out the closest person and mumble at them that you’re having a stroke
That stupid "tough guy" photo of him is so incredibly ridiculous.
It's his mug shot for 34 felonies.
This is a bit mean but it reminds me of some older customers I've had who were dealing with dementia. Sometimes you say stuff to them and they look both skeptical and a bit hostile like they don't understand if what you said was offensive.
Just a bit about dementia, you know you should know something or you know you are struggling to understand others and it becomes very frustrating and that can show up as anger. On top of that the degradation of the prefrontal cortex results in less control of emotional urges.
So 25% journalists reviewing the phone and the rest spies?
So, here is what we know so far. Apparently, Trump Mobile only had 3,615 MVNO customers, and all of their sensitive private information has now been leaked on the dark web. The data trove includes first and last names, email addresses, telephone numbers, home addresses, and details on orders with Trump Mobile, as per an analysis by Straight Arrow.
I want to put money on the fact that they sold the data, themselves, for a profit. Since they had an absolutely pathetic number of subscribers
Lol. If the subscribers were a town it wouldn't be big enough to have a Walmart.
Nah, that's not true. My hometown has less than 400 and has a Dollar General. They'll put a store anywhere.
dg loves food deserts with high percentages of poor and/or elderly. they exist solely to gouge snap and wic recipients and other poor people unable to drive elsewhere for a more reasonable price on grocery.
Yeah, that's pretty much their business model.
Oddly enough, a lot of groceries are cheaper at my local DG than Walmart.
dolllar tree is the equivalent here in the west, they are usually in between the big box stores, like tar'ge, costco , albertsons,,,etcwhich arnt close to each other. we dont have walmarts here, because walmart avoids our area like the plague, due to potential high taxes.
They should hire me.
I'm great at placating words and otherwise doing fuck all.
admitting incompetence is the most competent thing anyone associated with Trump's businesses has ever done
The hackers should brick the phones and have only the TRUMP-EPSTEIN FILES (TM) show up on them.
Speaking of PR, the Poplar Group, which had entered into a services contract with Trump Mobile only in June 2025, and whose Chris Walker had given the now-infamous statement to USA Today back at around the same time, asserting that the T1 Phone was, in fact, made right here in the United States, is no longer representing Trump Mobile. Trump Mobile has, since then, altered its marketing narrative to "assembled in America."
Isn't that old news? I thought they changed it again, to something like "Designed with American Values in mind." Like, literally no part of the design or production takes place in America. It's a slightly modified version of an old HTC phone. They might put it in boxes to ship out, but that's it.
Well that seems according to expectations.
Terrorists hid my car keys
his potato phone lol
Hahaha hahaha ha
Hahahaha
Where's the data
Have the mobile phone plan you voter for! :-)
Fuck yes 😂 people this level of stupid probably still support his ass too! So fucking pathetic
Probably
I admire your optimism
"Hackers" or just flogged off all the users data?
It would be funny if those magats could read the sign. Sign: You're a bunch of morons, keep buying my steaming shit piles.
