It's like a cheat code for winning over stupid people. Us social apes instinctually band together against things we feel threaten us. These douchebags just keep crying wolf, then bear, then cougar, then three headed rattlesnake, and the list goes on, and ride that fear to further their careers. A disappointingly large portion of the population never seems to notice how so many of these issues are entirely fictional.
Yeah I feel weird about this one. She's a self-hating hypocrite and she's toxic, but attacking her sexuality is extremely not something I'm comfortable with. There is, on the other hand, an allegation that she seuxally assaulted someone, so I guess it makes sense that they're looking for this stuff.
But maybe stop telling the press about it? Do your investigation in private and get it done.
It’s not (or shouldn’t be) about attacking her sexuality but highlighting the hypocrisy of her position. Sex sells but in principle it’s the same as if she started a group devoted to outlawing tiktok as immoral and then had her tiktok account exposed
but attacking her sexuality is extremely not something I’m comfortable with.
She sure is comfortable attacking anyone else's so why is she off-limits now?
If you are against violence and refuse to use it, sooner or later someone will use violence against you, and you will lose because you refuse to fight back.
What is your principle worth when you've been beaten to a bloody pulp?
This is what the paradox of tolerance addresses.
What? If there's someone walking around punching a bunch of people in the face and I'm very anti-face-punching, 100% I'm going to go against my principles of not punching the one time to punch that person in the face. They should then, hopefully, understand what their actions were doing to those around them and develop a sense of empathy.
I feel this is as justified as outing Republican politicians who have spent their days in congress making anti-LGBT+ legislation and spending their evenings with rentboys.
It's the hypocrisy that I dislike so much.
If she were a shit person preaching shit ideas but living by them? I'll still disagree but it won't be nearly as insulting as someone saying one thing and doing another.
Do as I say not as I do very much appears to be part of the GOP these days and it seems like every huckster and whore is getting in on the grift. It doesn't matter how you actually live your life; as long as you can tell certain people how they can live theirs that shadowy PAC money will trickle down.
I don't doubt there are people upset that she had sex with a woman on camera, but those people are the ones who are fans of her political PTO bs. Personally I get as many LOLs no matter who she filmed herself fucking because the moral judgement I'm making is about her ability to accurately portray her 'beliefs' in her actions.
I thought the allegation involved her husband assaulting the woman they had threesomes with. However, I haven't made any special effort to keep track of this situation, so I could be missing something.
She used the ‘no homo’ loophole.
Good and let's hope it stays that way, because the rape victim filmed without consent is also one of the people in that video.
And even if there was no rape victim in the video, there's an internet full of porn out there and there's probably already something you'll accept as masturbatory material that was meant for the general adult population.
meant for the general adult population
meaning this one wasn't?
The embedded video of Zander Moricz is so good! Click the link and go watch it. If the first line doesn't sell you, nothing will:
"Bridget, our first interaction was when you retweeted a hate article about me from The Nationalist while I was a Sarasota County School student."
Hell of a way to open a comment!
If I ever do something dumb that requires this type of public hearing please make sure this kid is the one doing the public roasting.
It has always been the way but we have a lot of motivated people and an internet to point it out now.
Like she didn't see this cumming.
Why is police looking into this though?
Ah.. It's in the article. They found it in her husband's phone as he's being investigated for rape
In late November, a woman alleged that Christian Ziegler went to her apartment and raped her after his wife bowed out of a scheduled get-together.
Christ
That’s disgusting… where did they even post these videos, which websites, I want to make sure I dont see it by mistake!!
Fat Mac was the best

Hoo boy.
The only thing that would get faster comments is a Danny davito v Shrek sex tape.
"Versus" accurately captures the energy I would expect from that
Did she commit a crime that's her private life is being exposed? I know her husband is a rapist, but why are these videos being released?
Yes, she's a hypocrite, but what about her privacy? Her rights? That's YOUR privacy and YOUR rights too.
Came here to say that. Two weights and two measurements i see
Read the article ffs
i did it, now?
More like moms for libido amirite
Here another great read and some back grounds of the situation, just in case anyone isn't clued up https://www.vanityfair.com/...
I think this former Sarasota county student said it best. https://youtu.be/yq4LMi5-C6o?si=eLUXLIJ92QrnCQQR
Really her hypocrisy is just laughable and no one should care or be involved with anyone else's bedroom activities.
She is pushing her hateful and hurtful agenda in Sarasota county public schools. Meanwhile, she sends her kids to private school.
!I'm a bit split on this the more I think about it. Her private life doesn't need to be put on blast, she's a horrible enough person without putting her hypocrisy in the spotlight. However, it is her piousness that she flaunts as her guiding principle to negatively affect and control the lives of others. So can they actually be separated.!<
I'm wrong about this. Just because she's a horrible person doesn't mean her private life should become public. Other than her husband's assault, nothing that was done should be a judgement against her and she doesn't deserve to have everything aired in the public.
And as an aside Zander Moricz, the kid from the video gives me hope and his graduation speech is well worth a watch. https://youtu.be/qpTVyozS7M0?si=ZSGIpcO8m8VPe6Ud
Its on blacked.com
Maybe they were moms for lesbianism but somehow lose the meaning and started the hate.
Wait why do police have it?
Edit:
Police obtained the video as part of its ongoing investigation into allegations that Christian sexually assaulted a woman
Damn
Disgusting? Where?
Anyone have the sauce?
It's a sexual assault investigation. If you rape someone and the police seize your phone then that's hardly a breach of privacy.
Yeah, I agree with you. Police releasing random information about an active investigation is not something that should happen, unless they need the public's help for whatever reason (which is not the case here, all parties are known).
In fact, we're not even sure if any crime happened here to begin with. The victim says it's assault, the suspect says it isn't. It's irresponsible to release any information until and if there's a trial.
Sure, it's fun to point out their hypocrisy, but this is not how these things should be handled. There should be privacy for both victim and perpetrator until this can be hashed out in court.
I was kidding in my comment.
I also don't agree with people down-voting you. Even assholes who should be in jail for-eva don't deserve mob-centric and humiliation as punishment. I very much want "us" to be better than "them" and not sink that low.
"According to an affidavit filed by Sarasota police Det. Angela Cox, Christian Ziegler admitted to police he recorded the incident that led to the rape allegation, a video police also recovered in the investigation."
Not humiliation on purpose, facts of the case are embarrassing because they are not good people
The videos, I believe, were consensual, as the "family values" and anti -LGBTQ couple were in a 3-way relationship that included this woman. Still, the video was possibly intended to remain private
Jokes are hard, mm'kay.
I really should have used /s
It's those damn DRAG QUEENS again!
I’m going to need links to both to compare and contrast. Just to make sure it is the same person.
Police obtained the video as part of its ongoing investigation into allegations that Christian sexually assaulted a woman.
Edit : Warning, the following is supposed to be one of my badly stated jokes :
"Yes, because policeman policemen, of course, wouldn't do this simply out of deviant interests 😋"
One kind reader pointed out to me that, since English is not my native language, there is something in that sentence that doesn't really work ... I don't know exactly what.
Since there is a potential for the policemen here to find sex videos, they have not only the normal interest of doing their job by finding evidences, but also an interest to find kinky stuff. So, I am suggesting caricatural policemen more interested in the later.
I know so much this fact (the police are doing their job) that I went in this article and copy and pasted the paragraph explaining exactly that.
Then, after citing this very obvious fact, I made a simple joke which you people take seriously ? You really don't get it ?
Okay, so I am bad at making jokes, sorry about that. Well, on second thought, about 50% of reader up-voted my comment, so they understand the joke, but not you nor @FlyingSquid.
I hate cops, but who else are you supposed to report a rape to?
You are close but not exactly.

Ok, so, this other comment was an answer to someone telling me I should know it was the police's job. ...

I get the feeling English isn't your native language? Your initial "joke" doesn't make a lot of sense.
For example, did you mean "a policeman" or "policemen"? Either way, it doesn't work as a sentence.
I don't see another answer.
