Umm, I do, in fact, decide what I like or don't like. That's true for everybody. But I don't decide what you like, and vice versa. So the issue is still that you can't decide for other people what they're into.

It's insane to me that the hair is what they had a problem with, and putting your genitals on even fuller display is the loophole.

With full respect to Ms Daniels I think it predates DVDs. My first sight (and many others I suspect) was an actress by the name of Seka who was shaving in the 70s and possibly earlier. As she tells it she was an early innovator in glamming up porn with good hair and makeup. Shaving was part of an exotic look.

Not only less safe, but less comfortable as well! Stubble rubbing against stubble in that area isn't fun.

This is far from certain but is one hypothesis. Another one is that, like armpit hair it traps scent molecules (mm mmm!) to make you smell sexy.

In any case, like the rest of the hair on our bodies, we've been styling it for millennia (my phone suggested: stroking it, which is probably also true) and probably won't suffer if we get rid of it.

One practical benefit of shaving pubic hair is immunity against pubic lice!

I have never had an ingrown hair in my life.

Alright, I stopped here. This is not what anyone seriously complains about when they're talking about bush. I fully get that ladyscaping is hard work and keeping everything in line can be a pain. But when you've just gone on a rant about men not expecting head, you've got to expect some turn about.

Have you ever tried to shave balls? A harrowing experience. I'm taking my own life, and millions of my little guys lives, into my own hands. Why am I putting a bleeding sack on the line when you can't run some clippers over your mound? Come on.

Nope, hedges.

Fair, but also a woman (or man) with a mess of hair that has never seen a comb or scissors wouldn't be very attractive (to me, at least), and I think the same of other hair. If I have a beard, it will be shaped. And if I am hoping to have someone put their face by my junk, I am going to make sure the hair is trimmed and tidy. Leg hair and arm hair, unless you have some weird genetic werewolf stuff going on, aren't going to get untidy on their own.

I think it is reasonable to hope or express preference for the same. Not waxed, not shaved, but at least some level of maintenance.
