BREAKING: U.S. Bombs Iranian Coastal City, Reports Fox’s Griffin
3 months ago by RandAlThor to c/world
Griffin added more details to her initial post, writing, “A senior US official tells me that it was a US military strike on Iran’s Qeshm port and Bandar Abbas moments ago but added this is NOT a restarting of the war or end to the ceasefire.”
Toddler logic:
Ceasefire means you stop, I can still do what I want.
People forget trump has always wanted a forever war to cancel elections.
He doesn't want to permanently fix anything, he wants it ready to blow as an excuse to cancel an election.
Don't forget Bibi has canceled like 4 consecutive Israeli elections, it's his bread and butter and he's running this show.
The war won't end while trump is in office.
I expect a false flag attack, blamed on Iran, to happen right before the midterms
Faux news:
Iran just shit trump's pants!
But didn't Biden shit Trump's pants before that? :O
That’s the only way I would believe the attack is real. It’ll probably be an Amazon warehouse which happens to be fully staffed by union supporters.
He’s also likely hit the Alzheimer’s stage of his life. Combine his general impulsivity with the characteristic impulsivity of Alzheimer’s. Now add in his likely cluster B personality disorder. Anything can happen at any time.
Reason may not be involved at all.
Someone gift him a luger with ammo and he'll fix the problem himself.

So our best hope for mankind's future is...McDonald's?
I would pay so much money to watch a PPV fight between any UFC fighter and everyone in Trump's cabinet. Starting with the president and VP, of course.
I know Bibi is running the country lika a dictator, but has he really cancelled any elections? As far as I can tell, since 2000 there have been Knesset elections 2003, 2006, 2009, 2013, 2015, 2019, 2019 (again), 2020, 2021 and 2022 with the next one expected in October this year.
Doesn't sound like there have been any cancellations, considering the members serve four-year terms, however, there have been plenty of early elections.
Can you clarify what you meant by him having cancelled Israeli elections?
They don't have regular elections, they can happen as often as every year.
Bibi has cancelled due to "war" since 2022, and while there is an election scheduled this year, that has been true for every year since 2022 as well.
Edit:
And the reason they happened twice in 19, then three years in a row is because a lot of Israel blames Bibi for all of this...
Very very slim wins for his parties and his alliance keeps fracturing. If he wasn't canceling elections, the wouldn't be in charge.
And as soon as he's not in charge, his corruption trial starts and he's clearly guilty. Like there's a shit ton of evidence, he will be found guilty.
It's a lot more fucked up than people think, there's a lot of propaganda from all sides that want to make it seem like Bibi has the support of every Israeli, when it's more like America and trump.
Right, so if I understand correctly the Knesset has voted to have an early election several times since 2022, but Bibi has vetoed those decisions to stay in power?
Still, I'd be more hopeful this year since the four years are up and I'd assume it's not as easy to cancel a mandatory election than an early election. At least I hope so.
You cease, we fire
AFAIK the ceasefire ever existing was a myth? Trump just kinda declared it without anyone else agreeing and then everyone kept shooting anyway, Trump included.
Not a restarting of the war? LMAO this administration thinks we are STUPID.
The most significant issue with an idiot is that they will always assume that everyone around them is less intelligent than they are.
The Dunning-Cougar effect. I know this one and I'm never wrong.
Dunning-Kruger?
Whooooosh
Well, a large percentage of the US is stupid.
Most Americans can't read at a 12th grade level.
More than half the adult population can’t read at a grade 6 level.
Yep, that's the whole most Americans are functionally illiterate. I know. We're mostly a lost cause.
Yeah but we're talking about America where education through the 12th grade is compulsory. By virtue of passing every American with a high school education should be capable of analyzing and consuming media at a pre-collegiate level. More than half can't do it at even a sixth grade level. Half of Americans are functionally illiterate. Just look at any reddit thread or any America centric fediverse thread.
No.
Please, stop assuming every US citizen voted for Trump. A lot of them didn't, and you most likely have no idea whether the person you replied to is one of them.
These kind of comments are becoming tiresome and doesn't help anyone; and they certainly doesn't bring anything to the discussion.
It's just a demented military operation...
It thinks Republicans are. Because passivity from the Republicans in the Senate is all he needs to keep the war going. I certainly have no faith in the military to reject unlawful orders themselves.
thinks we are STUPID.
the majority of the country voted for him or abstained.... so yes... amerikkka is stupid
Basic article, but news snippets & headlines (sans article reading) can work the same way. As one example, we are now seeing pregnant women shun Tylenol, not for anything specific they remember, just a vague “I heard it could be bad for the baby.”
MAGA knows what they say in brief sound bites, on repeat, can and will have similar impact.
Not on all. But they don’t need all. They just need enough absorbing the info in this way to keep us divided and forever following different information.
It’s true statement and a sad one. People need to turn that around, they are not powerless, but they are conditioned to think so.
You hold the power…if you choose it. You are not ants to be squished.
Imagine the average person. Pretty dumb, right? Now remember half of people are dumber than that
but added this is NOT a restarting of the war or end to the ceasefire
What in the fuck? When Iran retaliates, are these people gonna cry that Iran broke the ceasefire?
This is so childish.
Straight from Russian playbook. Just straight up lie in front of the whole world. Your fanatics will believe you anyways and the doubters won't know who to trust.
As a "doubter," I know not to trust a single word ever said by Trump. The only thing that matters are his actions, because those can be read no matter what he wants me to think.
How to tell if the orange kid-fucker is lying...
...his mouth is open
Not necessarily, he lies via text all the time.
Where are those Iraqi nukes, George?
If you think for a moment the government didn't know some shenanigans was up on the Pearl harbor invasion... Rest assured they knew something was going to happen they didn't expect Pearl harbor to be it.. but the powers that be we're looking for something to justify the United States entering the war
If anything, Russia is using the long established playbook belonging to the US.
They are going to say that literally nothing is breaking the cease fire, unless Iran does something large enough to rile up the US population.
The moment the ceasefire is “broken” they need to go before congress and get their stamp of approval on the war. But so long as they are in a ceasefire, they don’t have to do that.
So they are going to continue with the war, but constantly claim that their acts of war aren’t breaking the cease fire, so they still aren’t at war, so they still don’t need congress.
Y'all are missing the point of saying it's not a resumption. Of course it is. But they have to lie. If they admit they're resuming, it means they're in violation of the war powers act by going past 60 days. I expect the next lie will be that actually, this is a totally new military operation and the clock has reset.
He's literally done that multiple times already...
So yeah, pretty safe bet
And when they need to justify the war they claim we've been at war with Iran for 47 years.
Each lie is made for each argument or question they are addressing and does not need to be consistent with prior lies.
They were already in violation of the War Powers Resolution/Act when they started the war (not a defensive operation), but now they are even more in violation.

Trump doesn't even respect the ceasefire
He can't spell ceasefire. Or Iran. Or USA
Ah OK
"Us firing during a ceasefire doesn't cease the cease fire." Hegseth probably
Apparently this was a “love tap”. Only a man with the sexual history of Donny the Demented would think that.
Sundowning Preznit Fuckwit is bigly mad because the trumpstein files are being brought up again.
There. That is why bombs are being dropped. Because a pedo doesn't like when you shame his child raping activities.
I can't wait for Iran to release another series of satellite pics of even more expensive pedophile assets being turned into smoking craters.
Peace talks are progressing in the typical Israeli fashion I see
Fake ceasefire to avoid the war powers act.
Jennifer Griffin phrased this really poorly. (Fox News isn't really known for intelligence...) Three ships were fired on, and they returned fire with retaliatory strikes, per USCENTCOM. https://www.centcom.mil/...
So, the war isn't back on, but it's not off either. For a cease fire, there's been a lot of firing going on. The US never should have kicked this hornet's nest.
I'm seeing different things. Now seeing it being called a surprise attack by the USA which Iran retaliated to.
The order of events is probably going to be disputed for a bit. Most interesting part is that there are some reports that significant damage was done to US military ships.
If sailors are dead, Trump will go nuclear. Not literal nuclear. But still.....think he will just yell until they agree to let him go full on invasion.
and here begins the "second" 60 day congressionally unapproved war with iran.
Looks like war is back on the menu!
Very misleading title... US responded to attacks...
Where?
Because we are there. And we shouldn’t be.
Why do you think Iran attacked? Who started the war? Also a civilian city is not a valid target for an attack. It's a war crime.
When people say US is fucked, the large part of it is because of people like you.

So, is the ceasefire over, or are we just doing an Israel-style ceasefire?
